2010 Settlement - $2,000,000 combined Las Vegas, NV

A husband and wife were injured by taxi cab pulling from a curb.  The wife suffered major injuries but has recovered.  The taxi company fought responsibility from day one.  A lawsuit was filed because that is the only way to get a taxi company to sit up and pay attention.  They did and we successfully obtained a settlement for our clients.

2009 Judgment - $1,851,251.15 San Jose, CA

In this case, a large-company truck attempted to make a U-Turn in an intersection.  The truck was unable to do so in one movement and ended up blocking several lanes as well as the vision of a driver on a side street that was attempting to turn.  As the motorcycle approached the blocked intersection, he had to maneuver to avoid the truck that was blocking the lanes.  Unfortunately, at the same time, the driver of the truck motioned the automobile driver to go ahead and make its turn so that the truck would have room to continue its U-turn. Unfortunately, the car's vision was completely blocked by the truck and had to rely completely on the truck driver's motioning the car to go ahead and make its turn.  This caused the car to then pull directly into the path of the motorcycle causing the collision.

The insurance carrier for the large company continually refused to admit to responsibility for the accident.  The lawsuit was filed and the case went all the way to trial.  Refusing insignificant offers, we did not settle and in the end, the jury found in favor of our client in the above-stated amount.

2009 Settlement - $525,000 Sacramento, CA

A single father was "left turned" by older man who later had his licensed revoked as a result of this accident and our pursuing of the matter.  This was very important to our client.  Client made a full recovery from a fracture to his knee and shoulder.

2008 Settlement - $250,000 Santa Ana, CA

Our rider was injured on the freeway when another vehicle changed lanes into him.  In an odd turn of events, the police report was actually favorable to our client.  He suffered and recovered from a punctured lung and several broken ribs.  Our office was able to successfully obtain the full policy limits from the responsible party's carrier.

2007 Settlement - $315,000 Modesto, CA

An undisputed liability incident resulted in injuries to our client that included 11 fractured ribs, broken sternum and minor  injury to a knee.  The insurance carrier continued to refuse to pay the policy limits to our client.  Not willing to settle, we filed a lawsuit on behalf of our client.  Once the file was taken from the claims adjuster and handed over to defense counsel, they were able to correctly value the case and we were able to settle for the policy limits.

2007 Settlement - $425,000 Pleasanton, CA

A motorcycle rider was involved in a lane change accident. Although the driver of the other vehicle apologized to the rider and admitted fault to him, the police report placed fault with the rider for lane splitting.  The rider suffered serious injuries that required surgical intervention.  The insurance company continued to rely solely on the police report to deny liability and again this forced us to file a lawsuit on behalf of our client.  The lawyers for the insurance carrier finally did a complete investigation regarding the facts of the accident and agreed that the insured driver was at fault and the case was settled.

2004 Settlement - $1,015,000 Redwood City, CA

Our rider was injured when riding at night in a road construction area.  The city had failed to maintain the site properly.  The lines were painted incorrectly on the roadway and the lighting was inadequate.   Our client suffered, but recovered from, major head trauma.  The defense claimed that the rider was the sole cause of the accident.  The case settled in favor of our client.
