Rider was listed at fault for the accident.  Other party was stopped in the middle of a roadway making a u-turn although claimed to be making a left turn but there was not street or driveway to turn into.

The insurance company fought us for over a year on liability basically claiming their insured was in her rights to stop in the middle of a roadway for no reason.

The clients suffered serious injuries that included necessary surgeries as a result of the accident.  When faced with the possibility of defending a lawsuit by our office, the carrier finally agreed to pay out the full policy limits.
