FACTS: On June 18, 2007, at approximately 6:30 p.m., plaintiff Fred Koester was operating his motorcycle westbound on Del Obispo when he was struck by the defendant's vehicle making a left turn from eastbound Del Obispo.
PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: The plaintiff contended that he had the right of way and the defendant never saw him as he turned left in the path of the motorcycle.
DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: The defendant claimed he never saw the motorcycle.
INJURIES: The plaintiff sustained fractured pelvis, scrotal and testicular hematomas and right brachioplexopathy.
RESULT: Farmers Insurance paid $100,000 policy limits. Paid medical costs were $32,729.03.
